Experience of Community Service

Lot things in the world are permanent, which means that they are unchangeable and unquenchable. The formula "2+2=4" is a good example. Curiosity is one of the always permanent things because people always tend to have a great curiosity for the things that they have never seen before. I think that is the reason why I want to do community service. In fact, when I was doing the community service of standing on a rock slate to ensure the cross-country runners was running along the right way, I was bored. The only two things I could do were watching them running by walking paces and waving my arms to tell them which way to go. Other volunteers were working in groups, only I was working individually, it meant that I did not even have a person who I could talk to. However, only when the atmosphere is silent and you feel bored, you can be conscious of something really detailed. First Week School

Experiencing new things is always one of the most important parts of a person’s life. Last week, I started studying in America and experiencing new things, camping trip was interesting. Although now I am exhausted, I can feel that there is a big change happening in myself which will make me become a better person. One week ago, I still did not have much experience studying in a school as a boarding student, but now I can manage my day by myself well. At the beginning of the week, because I was new in my school, and also new in America, I could not communicate well with teachers and students from other nationalities. The reason why I could not communicate with them was that I was afraid of them, but I was afraid of mistakes because I did not want to make the atmosphere become embarrassing.
